A Mexican man who was deported from the US 20 times has been convicted of 10 counts including sexual assault in Oregon.

  On Friday, Sergio Jose Martinez, 31, was sentenced to 35 years in prison in a Portland courtroom after pleading guilty to kidnapping, sexual assault, sodomy and several other counts, KOIN reported. Martinez smiled throughout the trial, and as he left, he gave one grim parting shot to his two victims' relatives: 'See all you guys in Hell.'

A man accused of breaking into a 65-year-old woman's home, sexually assaulting her and stealing her car was arrested after allegedly assaulting another woman and running from police. Sergio Jose Martinez, 31, was caught July 24 after officers chased him through a neighborhood.

  According to court documents filed in March 2017, Martinez has a history of illegal entry into the United States. He has been a transient in the Portland area for more than a year and has been deported 20 times.

On the afternoon of Feb. 19, Sandra Duran, 42 — a mother, daughter and sister — was killed in a violent car crash on a rain-slicked road in North Hills. Los Angeles police say Estuardo Alvarado, the man who allegedly caused the collision, was speeding down Sepulveda Boulevard as he tried to flee the scene of another crash and slammed into a car being driven by Duran, who died at the scene.

  The 45-year-old Lakeview Terrace resident is an undocumented immigrant with a lengthy criminal record who was deported five times before the collision, according to federal authorities and court records. He has been charged with five felony counts in connection with the Feb. 19 collision, including murder and gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

A judge has been accused of helping an illegal Mexican immigrant escape a courtroom where immigration officials were waiting to arrest and possibly deport him. Diddier Pacheco Salazar, 22, appeared before Judge Monica Herranz to plead guilty in a DUI case on January 27 in Multnomah County, Oregon.

  Salazar entered the courtroom with his lawyer but never came back out again. Herranz is now under internal investigation after U.S. Attorney Billy Williams accused the judge of letting Salazar leave through her private entrance after staff realized immigration and customs enforcement agents were waiting for him.

The man who used a vehicle to run over a Dallas, Texas, police officer is an illegal alien who has been deported three times over the past 11 years. Eduardo Gonzalez-Rios, 29, is in the Dallas County jail after being treated for his gunshot wound, the Dallas Morning News (DMN) reported.

More than 1,800 immigrants that the federal government wanted to deport were nevertheless released from local jails and later re-arrested for various crimes, according to a government report released Monday. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement report — obtained by an organization that actively opposes illegal immigration — said the re-arrested immigrants were among 8,145 people who were freed between January and August 2014 despite requests from federal agents that they be held for deportation.

A man accused of killing three people and injuring another has been deported to Mexico six times since 2003. Bonifacio Oseguera-Gonzalez, 29, was arrested just hours after deputies say he shot four people at a Marion County farmhouse. A six-time-deported illegal immigrant is charged in the felony hit-and-run of an Arizona mother and her two young children. The man allegedly admitted to being high on marijuana while causing the severe lacerations to a five-year-old boy. The five-year-old and a two-year-old were both taken to an area hospital.

A Prince William County grand jury issued and indictment for felony murder against the illegal immigrant accused of being drunk when he allegedly crashed his car head-on into a van carrying three Benedictine nuns, killing one of the nuns, Sister Denise Mosier, 66.
