I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan…I saw through the door dim figures parading with banners and illuminated crosses…I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak…In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered. -Margaret Sanger Go To Site

Anytime I write about Margaret Sanger’s May 1926 speech to the women’s chapter of the KKK in Silverlake, New Jersey—as I did again recently—liberals get very upset. -Paul Kengor Go To Site

Margaret Sanger (1879 – 1966), a long-time advocate for artificial birth control who supported eugenics -- selective breeding and sterilization to diminish the so-called inferior races and promote the growth of so-called superior races -- was the founder of the American Birth Control League (ABCL).

The ABCL eventually was merged with another group, the Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau, in 1939, and was renamed the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) in 1942. In 1952, Sanger helped found the International Planned Parenthood Federation and served as its first president until 1959. Go To Site

Margaret Sanger, for those who are unaware, was a vile racist and eugenicist who dedicated her life to ridding the world of poor black babies, who she deemed the “degenerate and defective.” She was a featured guest of the Ku Klux Klan and a huge proponent of the forced sterilization program of the Nazi regime in the 1930’s. "[Slavs, Latin, and Hebrew immigrants are] human weeds ... a deadweight of human waste ... [Blacks, soldiers, and Jews are a] menace to the race." "Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need ... We must prevent

Now, I have to tell you that it was a great privilege when I was told that I would receive this award. I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision. -Hillary Clinton Go To Site

She even presented at a Ku Klux Klan rally in 1926 in Silver Lake, N.J. “The main objects of the Population Congress would be to apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring[;] to give certain dysgenic groups in our population their choice of segregation or sterilization.” -Margaret Sanger, "A Plan for Peace" Go To Site

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Abortion Surveillance report revealed that between 2007 and 2010, nearly 36 percent of all abortions in the United States were performed on black children, even though black Americans make up only 13 percent of our population. A further 21 percent of abortions were performed on Hispanics, and 7 percent more on other minority groups, for a total of 64 percent of U.S. abortions tragically performed on minority groups. Margaret Sanger would have been proud of the effects of her legacy. -Arina Grossu Go To Site

Sanger’s genius was to advance Ross’s campaign for social control by hitching the racist-eugenic campaign to sexual pleasure and female liberation. In her “Code to Stop Overproduction of Children,” published in 1934, she decreed that “no woman shall have a legal right to bear a child without a permit…no permit shall be valid for more than one child.” -Jonah Goldberg, Nation Review Go To Site

While there are cases where even the law recognizes an abortion as justifiable if recommended by a physician, I assert that the hundreds of thousands of abortions performed in America each year are a disgrace to civilization. -Margaret Sanger, "Woman and the New Race", Chapter 10 Go To Site

In the October 1921 issue of The Birth Control Review, Sanger wrote that "the campaign for Birth Control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical in ideal with the final aim of Eugenics." Go To Site

"A prevention of the faculty and opportunity to procreate on the part of the physically degenerate and mentally sick, over the period of only six hundred years, would not only free humanity from an immeasurable misfortune, but would lead to a recovery which today seems scarcely conceivable." -Adolf Hitler Go To Site

“It’s not only wrong, it should be made illegal for any religious group to prohibit dissemination of birth control — even among its own members.” -Margaret Sanger Go To Site

Margaret Sanger, a founder of Planned Parenthood, wrote in her autobiography that an abortion at any stage is the taking of a human life. “To each group we explained simply what contraception was; that abortion was the wrong way—no matter how early it was performed it was taking life," wrote Sanger. Racism, Abortion, Feminism

The Negro Project, instigated in 1939 by Margaret Sanger, was one of the first major undertakings of the new Birth Control Federation of America (BCFA)... the Negro Project was, from the start, largely indifferent to the needs of the black community and constructed in terms and with perceptions that today smack of racism.

Margaret Sanger Addresses KKK...

“Always to me any aroused group was a good group and therefore I accepted an invitation to talk to the women’s branch of the Ku Klux Klan at Silver Lake, New Jersey.”

"I do know that blacks kind of represent a large portion of the abortions, and I do know that honestly the whole idea with Planned Parenthood and Sanger in the past was to exterminate blacks.

And it's kind of ironic that it's working."
