Liberalism is a disease. We have the proof. We catalog liberal hypocrisy, hatred, violence, and fascist behavior. The liberal narrative is discredited here.

Frankly, the torrent of scorn for conservative closed-mindedness confirmed my view that we on the left can be pretty closed-minded ourselves.

Northern Illinois University is restricting students' access to certain websites. For their own good, of course. The internet is a dangerous place, and we wouldn't want students inadvertently coming across something controversial, now would we?

You would think university professors would have some respect for books regardless of their content.

Apparently that's not the case for two San Jose State University professors who actually published a picture at their department's website of the two of them burning a book skeptical of anthropogenic global warming.

“Fascists,” “bums,” and “killing machines.” That’s how conservatives and Republicans were described at the initial meeting of a new organization of faculty members in North Carolina.

The group, named “Scholars for a Progressive North Carolina,” was formed in response to what organizers described as “the destructive course pursued by the state legislature.”

"I couldn’t vote for a Mormon," one professor said. There was some polite (or perhaps impolite) head-bobbing. "It’s a cult. Very intolerant, and their opinions about women, and, well ... ” and his voice trailed off. Go To Site

A student at Reed College has been banned from class for denying the existence of “rape culture” in the United States and arguing that the oft-repeated statistic that one in five women are raped at college is bogus. Jeremiah True, 19, received an email from professor Pancho Savery on March 14 telling him he was making his classmates so uncomfortable that he was no longer welcome to participate in the “conference” sections of his Humanities 110 class...

Kelly later stated that he doesn't “teach white people'' since those aren't authors he reads. Kelly says he has only learned from non-White authors, and that “these are the things, the lessons I have learned in writing, are in large part from these particular writers.”

AMHERST, Mass. (WGGB) — Causing a stir on the UMass Amherst campus Republican Strategist, Karl Rove was barely able to get a word in while giving a speech at the Student Union tonight. Although he took the stage to solid applause from the hundreds of students in attendance, it was seconds later he was interrupted by the first of dozens of protesters who stood up and yelled various insults and made various charges against him.

The Student Government Association at Johns Hopkins University compared pro-life students to white supremacists and denied them official club status at the school. “They were denied status because the students on the student council felt being pro-life violates their harassment policy,” said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America. Hawkins told Fox News the student group, called Voice for Life, is searching for an attorney and they plan on fighting the ban. -Todd Starnes

Students and parents are questioning a college professor after she reportedly issued a syllabus that filtered student’s research options. The syllabus tells students in a West Liberty University political science course what sources they can and cannot use. Among those students are asked not to use are The Onion, an openly fictitious parody of real-life news, and Fox News, a professional news organization. In the syllabus, the professor allegedly says, “The tagline Fox News makes me cringe.”

And in a notorious Yale Law Journal article, feminist law professor Wendy Brown wrote about an experience in which, after a wilderness hike, she returned to her car to find it wouldn’t start.

A man in an NRA hat spent a couple of hours helping her get it going, but rather than display appreciation for this act of unselfishness, Brown wrote that she was lucky she had friends along, as a guy like that was probably a rapist.

Though Sue was thoroughly applauded by students, not everyone was pleased with his lecture. A student rose up during the question-and-answer session, accusing Sue of bias himself, and stating that his entire speech was a “microaggression against white people.” Sue reacted by quoting Spike Lee’s saying that only white people can be racist.

Before anything else, let me quickly disclaim: I am not a conservative. The very fact that I feel compelled to make this disclosure from the outset says something powerful.

It says that I fear the consequences of writing this piece because, while not state-censored, the views I am about to express are strongly disfavored. I’m in a class taught by a former political figure who is a Republican (gasp). After class last week, a classmate remarked to me that the instructor is “way too nice to be conservative.”

I was taken aback, but I knew what he meant. Somehow, in the milieu of Princeton, there is a presumption that conservatives are anomic bloodsuckers and liberals saintly seraphs.
