The Trump Russia Collusion Hoax

Remember the Russia collusion hoax that lasted for years before coming up empty? -Mollie Hemingway

They made it all up.

If you haven’t been paying attention to all the ins and outs of RussiaGate and the so-called “collusion” scandal, that’s all you need to know about Thursday’s arrest of Russian analyst Igor Danchenko.

The Hillary Clinton campaign hired a bunch of shady operatives to put together a collection of lies and innuendo about Donald Trump and shop it to the FBI. It was the ultimate political dirty trick, one that was aided and abetted by the media long after Trump took office.

No one wishes to speak of the “dossier” anymore. Everyone knows why: it was never a dossier.

It was always a mishmash concoction of half-baked fantasies and outright lies, sloppily thrown together by the grifter and has-been ex-British spy and Trump hater, Christopher Steele—all in the pay of Hillary Clinton, the original architect of the collusion hoax.

More than a year ago, then-Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe made a stunning series of declassifications...

One of the explosive declassifications involved handwritten notes by then-CIA Director John Brennan, who had personally briefed then-President Barack Obama and several members of his National Security Council at the White House about intercepted Russian intelligence analysis.

The content of that intercepted analysis claimed that Hillary Clinton had approved a plan to smear the Trump campaign with a fake Russian collusion hoax that would be created by private operatives... They had been alerted in July 2016 about what Clinton’s campaign was preparing to do.

In 2015 the law firm Perkins Coie, which also represented the Democratic National Committee was hired by the Hillary Clinton Campaign.

Early the following year it hired Fusion GPS to perform opposition research for the campaign. Fusion GPS provided the now debunked Steele dossier which alleged Russian collusion with the Trump campaign.

For the services performed during the campaign, the DNC paid the firm $5.6 million and the Clinton campaign paid them $3.6 million.

Having the firm hire GPS Fusion meant that the connection would not be revealed through campaign financial disclosures, but in time the connection was revealed, largely because of a defamation suit filed in Great Britain by Alfa Bank against Steele.

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign paid an internet company to “infiltrate” servers at Trump Tower and the White House in order to link Donald Trump to Russia, a bombshell new legal filing alleges.

The Friday filing from a Department of Justice prosecutor tasked with investigating the origins of the FBI’s Russian probe served to throw cold water on Democrats’ longstanding allegations of collusion. Special Counsel John Durham filed a motion related to potential conflicts of interests in connection with the case of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who is charged with lying to the feds, according to Fox News.

Sussmann allegedly told the FBI he was not working on behalf of Clinton when he presented the agency with documents that supposedly linked the Trump Organization to a Kremlin-tied bank two months before the election.

A Hillary Clinton campaign operation to plant a false rumor about Donald Trump setting up a “secret hotline” to Moscow through a Russian bank was much broader than known and involved multiple U.S. agencies, according to declassified documents and sources briefed on an ongoing criminal investigation of the scheme.

In addition to the FBI, the 2016 Clinton campaign tried to convince the Obama administration’s State Department, Justice Department and Central Intelligence Agency to look into the hoax, and continued pressing the issue even after Trump was inaugurated in January 2017.

The goal was to trigger federal investigative activity targeting her Republican rival and leak the damaging information to the media.

A federal grand jury on Thursday handed up an indictment requested by special counsel John Durham — and it’s fresh proof that the entire Russiagate “scandal” was manufactured by Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

Durham, the federal prosecutor tasked with investigating the origins of the investigation, is targeting lawyer Michael Sussmann for lying about his client when he met with an agent to share dubious suspicions of a link between the Trump Organization and Kremlin-connected Alfa Bank.

Implausible Suspension of Disbelief...

The Brennan notes, coupled with an investigative referral sent to the FBI, make clear that all the top Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI officials involved in accepting fake evidence from private operatives during the course of the 2016 presidential campaign knew they were being approached by people associated with the Clinton campaign.

These federal officials then started investigations of the Trump campaign and applied for federal surveillance warrants on Trump associates based on this fake information.

A lawyer whose firm represented Hillary Clinton's campaign during the 2016 presidential election was indicted Thursday by special counsel John Durham on a single charge of making a false statement to the FBI.

Michael Sussmann, an attorney for the Perkins Coie law firm who previously represented the Democratic National Committee following the hacking of its servers by Russia during the 2016 campaign, is accused of lying "about the capacity in which he was providing allegations to the FBI" when he met with a top lawyer from the bureau in September 2016 and provided him information about potential ties between a Russian bank and computer servers in the Trump Organization...

The indictment alleges Sussmann began in 2016 working with a U.S. tech executive and other cyber researchers in coordination with the Clinton campaign to assemble "white papers" on a potential communications channel between the Trump Organization and Russian-owned Alfa Bank. Sussmann later provided Baker with the documents in a Sept. 19, 2016 meeting where he is alleged to have made the false statement about who he was acting on behalf of at the time.

Clinton Lawyer's Indictment Reveals 'Bag of Tricks'...

Hillary Clinton Initiated the Russia Collusion Hoax...

We first learned last October that President Obama was briefed by CIA director John Brennan on July 28, 2016, about intelligence reports suggesting that Hillary Clinton was planning to tie Donald Trump to Russia in order to distract the public from her use of a private email server.

According to Brennan’s handwritten notes, declassified by Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe, intelligence reports alleged that Hillary Clinton had approved “a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.”

Oops.

“This was a highly sophisticated operation using enablers in both the media and federal agencies,” George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley told RealClearInvestigations.

James Comey’s FBI: Either Participants, or Incompetent Boobs....

...Durham’s move is a big deal. It shows that the special counsel’s probe is methodically unraveling a huge conspiracy, seemingly engineered by Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and implicating James Comey’s FBI, either as a willing participant or as utterly incompetent boobs.

FBI Fabricated Evidence and Lied to FISA Court....

The story gets worse. Although Clinesmith altered the CIA message for FBI use, he also gave his superiors the CIA’s true communication.

So, his bosses knew the real story. They weren’t interested in the truth, which they kept secret from the FISA court to continuing spying on Page.

Again, the entire Russiagate scare was launched by the Clintonites, who not only paid Perkins Coie to hire the Beltway smear-specialists of Fusion GPS to draw up and promote the Steele allegations but also gossiped about the supposed Trump-Russia conspiracy, prompting allies in and out of government to pass their own hysterical tips in to the bureau.

Fellow travelers in the Obama administration, such as CIA chief John Brennan, also helped fan the flames. Indeed, Team Obama basically turned the gossip (which is all Steele or anyone ever offered) into a solid-seeming case.

But it was all a setup.

Democrat / Government Complex Loses Collective Memory...

The FBI—that in part used their paid informant Steele’s lies to birth FISA warrants—now disowns it. The entire 22-month, $40-million Mueller charade ended up in tragicomic style with Robert Mueller under oath denying he knew much of anything about either the purveyor of the dossier, Fusion GPS, or the dossier itself.

James Comey when asked about it and the investigations it spawned, on 245 occasions under oath claimed he lost his memory or had no knowledge of it.

Concocted By Clinton, Fed to FBI....

Remember, this whole story was concocted and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and fed to the FBI and the media by her attorneys and associates.

The FBI, which should have been able to quickly prove the story was false, plodded on with its investigation and fed the frenzy.

FBI Used Hoax Dossier To Investigate Trump...

The real heart of the scandal has always been the creation of the Steele dossier, the FBI accepting it—while knowing it was a hoax—and then FBI officials using the dossier as a pretext to spy on the Trump campaign.

"Secret Backchannel": Actually Innocuous Marketing Emails...

The sinister communications Jones claimed were flowing between an alleged Trump server and Alfa Bank were found to be innocuous marketing emails. In other words, spam.

Sources say it is odd that FBI headquarters continued to pursue the allegations, because internal FBI communications reveal that the bureau’s own cyber sleuths had pooh-poohed them within days of Sussmann’s briefing, RCI has learned.

How’s that for a vicious circle? Clinton officials feed their Russian stooge disinformation, it gets laundered through British spy Christopher Steele, and the FBI uses it as the basis for wiretapping the future president’s team.

Democrats Colluded With Russians

Trump Russia Collusion Hoax Concocted By Hillary Clinton Campaign

The Washington Post made headlines last week when it corrected and altered two stories that inaccurately identified a key source of the discredited anti-Trump Steele dossier – but the paper also added editor’s notes to at least 14 other reports.

The two stories, published in March 2017 and February 2019, were changed when the newspaper’s executive editor, Sally Buzbee, said she could no longer stand by their accuracy...

The changes came after Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation into the Trump-Russia probe further discredited the already-shaky dossier when Russian national Igor Danchenko, who is believed to be a sub-source for the dossier, was indicted...

The Post’s media reporter Paul Farhi wrote the indictment suggests "Danchenko may have gotten his information about the hotel encounter not from Millian but from a Democratic Party operative with long-standing ties to Hillary Clinton"...

To be clear: The FBI never found the least confirmation of any of it. Neither did special counsel Bob Mueller’s vast team.

The completely false perception by a large segment of the public that Trump has ties to Russia will be hard to dislodge, especially when major newspapers that rushed to page one with suggestive stories sourced to unnamed officials later relegate the exonerating stories to the back pages.

How many voters made decisions based on the false belief that Trump was some kind of a foreign agent and lying about it? What’s the consequence of that?

Elections based on lies cannot be said to express the consent of the governed. They’re just force by another name.
