Police said they found drugs in the vehicle for which she didn't have a prescription and gave Blau a field sobriety test that she failed. A Southern Indiana teacher arrested for allegedly hosting a party where dozens of teens drank alcohol will get to keep her job. On the last Saturday night in May, sheriff's deputies say Laura and John Mahuron of Salem hosted a graduation party attended by more than three dozen teenagers. According to deputies, most who were there were drinking. A report says 23 children, a dozen under 18, were drinking alcohol. One boy was taken to the hospital after repeatedly falling down and vomiting. 47-year-old Laura Mahuron and her husband were charged with contributing to the delinquency of minors.

SCHENECTADY -- A teacher's aide was arrested after an alleged drug sale/purchase in the City's Hamilton Hill neighborhood. 33-year-old Rozelle Tolbert was arrested and charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Tolbert allegedly purchased marijuana from 27-year-old Marcus Young. Police said that Tolbert had a 3-year-old toddler in the vehicle during the exchange. Young was charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Tolbert and Young are in Schenectady City Jail awaiting arraignment. Child Protective Services was notified.

David Groover, 43, was arrested Friday after deputies searched his St. Cloud, Florida home, uncovering methamphetamine, marijuana, GHB and drug paraphernalia, according to an Osceola County Sheriff's office statement. The principal at Partin Settlement Elementary School allegedly provided an undercover agent with drugs, including methamphetamine, authorities said.

A choir teacher at Newberg High School was arrested Monday afternoon on accusations that he gave alcohol to a minor, who is also a former student. Jason Wayne Lemus Taylor, 29, was taken into custody at the high school, where he teaches at Yellow School, one of four small schools that comprise Newberg High School. Taylor, who has taught at the school since 2008, has been placed on paid administrative leave, according to Superintendent Paula Radich. Taylor was booked and released on $6,250 bail, according to Newberg-Dundee police.
