It appears that leftism assumes that racist and sexist speech by liberals constitutes good people’s lapses of judgment and tact — not, as in the case of conservatives, valuable windows into the dark hearts of bigots. -Victor Davis Hanson Go To Site

The Democrats have been sedulously rewriting history for decades. Their preferred version pretends that all the Democratic racists and segregationists left their party and became Republicans starting in the 1960s. How convenient.

If it were true that the South began to turn Republican due to Lyndon Johnson’s passage of the Civil Rights Act, you would expect that the Deep South, the states most associated with racism, would have been the first to move. That’s not what happened. -Mona Charen Go To Site

In a scholarly article published in Teaching Education, Professor Cheryl Matias calls whiteness “a disease,” while suggesting new ways to teach urban students about “racism and whiteness.” Dr. Matias is an assistant Professor at the University of Colorado at Denver. Her article, Why do you make me hate myself?: Re-Teaching Whiteness, Abuse, and Love in Urban Teacher Education, was published in Teaching Education this year...

Racism and whiteness are diseases that need to be addressed, she continues, writing, “We cannot even begin to address symptoms, such as the racial achievement gap, if we do not address the underlying diseases of racism and Whiteness.”

African-American staffers on Democratic campaigns were paid 70 cents for each dollar their white counterparts made. For Hispanic staffers in Democratic campaigns, the figure was 68 cents on the dollar. The mothers of two men facing federal hate crimes charges told radio listeners Saturday their sons are innocent, playing down reports of racial conflicts in Compton between Latinos and African-Americans. The men who face federal charges are accused of intimidating and trying to force African-Americans to leave the portion of Compton that the Compton 155 gang claims as their territory. "I was in shock, because I had to find out through the media that my son was being accused of hate crimes," Ernestina Munoz said of her son, Efren Marquez Jr., 21.

Union protesters called hot dog vendor “Uncle Tom” and “N*gger” but you won’t hear about it in the mainstream media. I have posted numerous times about the union violence in Lansing, including punches thrown at Steven Crowder and the tearing down of the Americans for Prosperity tent even as bystanders screamed that there were people inside. You may also have heard the story of the hot dog vendor whose equipment and supplies were deliberately destroyed by the union protesters. But unless you read conservative blogs and websites, you have not heard that the union protesters shouted racial slurs at the man, including the N-word. -William A. Jacobson

The Romney campaign has been accused of deliberately getting the Republican presidential candidate booed by black people during his NAACP speech to attract votes 'in certain racist precincts', by MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell. Romney was booed for 15 seconds at the National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People conference in Houston on Wednesday when he stated he would 'eliminate' unnecessary programmes like the Obamacare health reform. Democrats united in saying that Romney planned to get booed to appeal to his conservative base.

Minorities Safer In Rural America...

According to the Department of Justice, out here where I live in rural North Carolina, throughout all of 2019, there were a total of only 20 hate crime allegations in our 13 rural counties where the population adds up to 668,000. That means that throughout 2019, there were only 2.9 hate crime allegations per 100,000 people.

Guess what the hate crime number is in some of the most progressive, left-wing cities in America? Well, you don’t have to guess, because I have those numbers for you….

  • Portland, OR = 5.75 reported hate crime incidents per 100,000
  • Boulder, CO = 7.9 incidents per 100,000
  • San Francisco, CA = 7.2 incidents per 100,000
  • Alexandria, VA = 3.1 incidents per 100,000
  • Arlington, VA = 4.7 incidents per 100,000
  • Seattle, WA = 40 (not a typo) per 100,000
  • Washington DC = 29 (not a typo) incidents per 100,000...

OKLAHOMA CITY — The nation's second-largest Indian tribe said on Tuesday that it would not be dictated to by the U.S. government over its move to banish 2,800 African Americans from its citizenship rolls. The dispute stems from the fact that some wealthy Cherokee owned black slaves who worked on their plantations in the South. By the 1830s, most of the tribe was forced to relocate to present-day Oklahoma, and many took their slaves with them. The so-called Freedmen are descendants of those slaves.

But an extensive new poll of Hispanic voters in the key electoral states of Florida, Colorado, and New Mexico shows strong support for those very photo ID laws.
